Lake Conroe Christian Academy believes in enriching the lives of all children through faith and academic excellence. Our staff is committed to achieving and abiding by principles set forth by strong Christian values, integrity and high academic standards.


 

Our vision as a private preschool in the Conroe area is to educate our students from 12 months through second grade with a love for Jesus and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.  Not only will we be providing the basic academics for early childhood education, but our students will experience a combined curriculum approach in an open concept facility where we will utilize the indoors, as well as the outdoors for learning. Our emphasis will be on reading/writing workshop, balanced literacy, guided reading, shared reading and writing, phonics, whole language, chapel lessons, praise and worship, calendar math, engineering, spatial reasoning, learning math skills with manipulatives and hands-on problem solving, geography, social studies, Spanish, music and movement, art class, science labs, social skills and manners.  During playground time we want to get "Back to Basics" with outside play that has children using gross motor skills such as playing with balls,  hula-hooping, riding trikes, digging in sand, blowing bubbles and playing cooperatively with friends.  Even our recess time can be a chance for our children to learn, grow and experience God's beautiful creation first hand.
